This is true <em>if</em> you build the right type of list. You want a money list, which is simply defined as one where those who opt-in to your list have already shown they are willing to spend money.</p>
<p>How to Build a Buyers List</p>
<p>It’s simple!</p>

<p><strong><em>You need three tools to get started:</em></strong></p>

I recommend <a title="Aweber - Best autoresponder" href="http://autoemaildelivery.com" target="_blank">Aweber</a>, but there are others that are fine too, like Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or iContact. In order to send email to a mass number of email addresses, you absolutely must use an autoresponder service, as this will keep you in compliance with CAN-SPAM laws.</li>
<li><strong>A product to sell.</strong>This product could be an inexpensive $7 report or a more expensive coaching program or whatever. The point is that if someone is willing to pay you money, then they are the type of folks you want on your mailing list. Offering a quality product that meets the needs of your market is key. <a title="Quality PLR products" href="http://budurl.com/ndezplr" target="_blank">PLR</a> (Private Label Rights) product can be used to quickly and easily create a product.</li>
<li><strong>A squeeze page.</strong> After the client has purchased from you, the thank you page from your shopping cart system should direct them back to a special thank you page (aka: squeeze page) that you have created. On this page, you will put your opt-in form for them to sign-up to your list. You get them to sign-up by placing text above the opt-in form similar to this: “Please fill out the form below so we can know where to send your product.” – or – “ Please fill out the form below so we can communicate with you regarding your coaching sessions.” You get the idea, depends on what you’re selling as to what wording would work best.</li>
</ol>
<p>The above three keys are the most critical elements in list building; but it should go without saying that continuing to stay in touch with your subscribers and offering them quality information is what will endear them to you and build their know-like-trust factor with you and provide you with a responsive list of repeat buyers.</p>

Building a list is about building relationships and if you take the time to build quality relationships with your customers and prospects, it will prove profitable in the end.</p>

<p>To get started with building a responsive list, try approaching it like you would a new relationship.</p>
<p><strong>1.  Build Upon Trust</strong></p>
<p>As much as people rely on the internet they’re also wary about getting viruses, being scammed and having their inboxes bombarded with spam.  Since they’re exploring things that can be helpful to them, start by using your website as a means for providing useful information.  Interact with your audience and get to know exactly what it is they’re looking for.  Consistently offer them value, over deliver on the customer service, present yourself as a credible and professional business, and people will more likely sign up on your lists.</p>
<p>When people realize that your true intentions are to help them and that you’re not just out to make a quick buck by selling them something, they will be more prone to spend their money with you.  A sure and fast way to gain trust with your customers and prospects is by building meaningful relationships with them.</p>
<p>The money will come much easier after you build rapport with your audience and show them you are trustworthy.  Once you’ve gained their trust, continue to work hard at maintaining these relationships as a loyal life long customer is priceless.</p>
<p><strong>2.  Satisfy Their Needs and Desires</strong></p>
<p>People search the internet for one of two reasons – to find information and to shop.  If you can provide both, then you’re going to have a very useful site! When you’re able to meet the needs and desires of the people who are interested in your website with your product and/or service, then your visitors are going to be interested in learning more about your business and sign up on your list.</p>
<p><strong>3.  Learn From Experience</strong></p>
<p>If you want to build a successful list, look to learn from those that have been successful.  Watch what they do and how they do it and model their behavior.  Sign up on their lists and experience what they do.  Study the process and consider ways in which you could improve upon it to better serve “your” list.  Do some social networking and become friends with those who have become successful and remain successful.  Surround your self with like minded people who you resonate with.</p>
